Converting to G4 Ink

Roland/Mutoh/Mimaki EcoSolvent to G4 EcoSolventPRO (EG4)

Converting from OEM ink is a direct inline mix and match conversion. Simply remove the OEM ink cartridge and install a G4 cartridge, perform two (2) powerful cleans and start printing. You can change channels as you run out of OEM ink (always convert the full channel by example do not run one OEM black and one G4 black).

Please note it is always best to convert printers at the beginning of the week in the morning (Monday) and immediately start printing. This will push out all of the old ink providing the end-user with the best possible conversion.

G4 EcoSolventPRO is color matched to OEM ink. You can use either OEM profiles or Supply55 profiles.

ESU to G4 EcoSolventPRO Cartridges

Converting from ESU ink to G4 ink: Simply remove the ESU ink cartridge and install a G4 cartridge, perform two (2) powerful cleans and start printing. You can change channels as they run out of ESU ink (always convert the full channel by example do not run one OEM black and one G4 black). You can also flush the printer if they are concerned about the conversion process.

Please note it is always best to convert printers at the beginning of the week in the morning (Monday) and immediately start printing. This will push out all of the old ink providing the end-user with the best possible conversion.

ESU Bulk to G4 EcoSolventPRO

1.Preparing the bulk system (options):
a.Install a new bulk system – or –
b.Completely drain and flush the bulk system – or –
c.Run the bulk system down until the reservoir is empty and there is approximately a 1/4” to 1/8” of ink left in the cartridge
d.The customer can also flush the printer if they are concerned about the conversion process
e.The customer can change channels as they run out of ESU ink (always convert the full channel by example do not run one OEM black and one G4 black)
2.Fill the bulk system with G4 EcoSolventPRO ink and allow to stabilize
3.Perform two (2) powerful cleans and start printing
